(A description of my printing process and available products) |
Printing
All of my prints are made be me personally, so I
have complete control of quality. I am printing using the Epson Stylus®
Pro 9880 printer with Epson Ultrachrome K3 Inks and Epson Premium Luster
Photo Paper. These inks and paper are the best available and have a
tested archival life of over 100 years. All prints are signed by me. Ltd
Edition Prints are also numbered.
The
prices, availability and limited edition status of each print will appear in dropdown menus, as part of the
shopping cart feature, on the large view page for each image or
product.
The large images on this website contain a visible embedded
watermark. That is for copyright notification purposes only and will
definitely NOT appear in any print you purchase.
Matted Prints
All matted pieces are first mounted to
3/16" foam core.
(with the exception of my 5"x7" and 8"x12" prints which are matted on
1/16" mounting board to accommodate smaller standard frames).
I then precision hand-cut each and every mat. The mat
board used is Crescent "off-white" Acid-free Museum Rag Mat. This is a
very high quality mat board with archival qualities. The "off-white"
color compliments all images perfectly and easily matches any decor.
Triples
"Triples" are made up of 3
individual images, printed as mentioned above, that have been mounted and matted together to tell a story.
They are mounted on 3/16" thick foam core and matted with
Crescent Acid-free, 'off-white' museum rag mat. Most triples are available as horizontals or verticals
and come in two sizes: 8"x28" and 14"x34". The sizes and prices will
appear automatically in dropdown menus, as part of the shopping cart
feature, on the large view page for each triple.
Panoramics
Panoramic images are printed on an Epson Professional 9880 printer
using only the most archival Epson Ultrachrome K3 Inks on Epson's Premier Luster
Photo Paper. The quality is exceptional. The archival life of these prints has been tested to well over 100
years. Matted panoramics are first mounted on 3/16" thick foam core
(except the 'mini-pan' which is mounted to 1/16" mounting board to fit
smaller frames) and then matted with
Crescent Acid-free, 'off-white' museum rag mat. All are then signed
by me and limited editions are also numbered.

Note Cards
Each 5" X 7" (folded size) blank Natural
Selection® Note Card is printed in the U.S.A. on high-quality recycled paper
made up of at least 50% total recycled fibers and 10% post consumer waste. They
are coated with a special aqueous coating which allows them to be recycled. The
back of each card contains an accurate, interesting, and informative
interpretive paragraph designed to heighten people's awareness of the natural
world around them. All cards include envelopes.
