Prints and Products
(A description of my printing process and available products) |
Printing
All of my prints are made be me personally, so I
have complete control of quality. I am printing using the Epson Stylus®
Pro 9880 printer with Epson Ultrachrome K3 Inks and Epson Premium Luster
Photo Paper. These inks and paper are the best available and have a
tested archival life of over 100 years. All prints are signed by me. Ltd
Edition Prints are also numbered.
The
prices, availability and limited edition status of each print will appear in dropdown menus, as part of the
shopping cart feature, on the large view page for each image or
product.
The large images on this website contain a visible embedded
watermark. That is for copyright notification purposes only and will
definitely NOT appear in any print you purchase.
Matted Prints
All matted pieces are first mounted to
3/16" foam core.
(with the exception of my 5"x7" and 8"x12" prints which are matted on
1/16" mounting board to accommodate smaller standard frames).
I then precision hand-cut each and every mat. The mat
board used is Crescent "off-white" Acid-free Museum Rag Mat. This is a
very high quality mat board with archival qualities. The "off-white"
color compliments all images perfectly and easily matches any decor.
Prints on Canvas

Most of my images are now also
available as beautiful canvas giclees. Simply click on the dropdown menu
beneath any image for available sizes and prices of all prints,
including canvas. |
If you have seen me at an art show lately
you have seen my beautiful Giclee prints on canvas. I print all my work myself to assure quality. I use an Epson
Professional 9880 printer
with Epson Ultrachrome K3 Inks and Epson's Premium Satin
Canvas for a great finish. After printing, I spray coat each canvas with 3 to 4
coats of an environmentally-friendly finish made especially for this canvas and
ink combination. This protects the Canvas Giclee from moisture,
fingerprints, and most importantly, UV light. UV light is what causes lesser
quality prints to fade over time. This combination of
Inks, Premium Canvas and my special UV protective coating provides an
exceptional piece of artwork. The quality is remarkable. The archival life has been
rated at over 100
years.
Once completely dry, I then stretch each canvas by hand. I use a method known as "Gallery Wrapping" which is
when the actual image wraps around the stretcher frame so it can be viewed from
the sides as well. I use a either a 1½ inch or
1¾ inch deep stretcher frame to give every piece true
dimensionality. Each piece is ready to hang as is, without the need of a frame.
After stretching, I hand-sign and number each and every one. I am
producing my canvas Giclees in very limited editions of 250 each for each size
printed.
My canvas giclees are available in several sizes. Check
the drop-down menu beneath the image you like for available sizes of that
particular image. I also offer my giclees un-stretched. The un-stretched
canvases will have a 2 to 3 inch border ( 2 inches of the expanded image and 1"
of white with guidelines ) to allow for stretching.
These are the base prices of my Ltd Edition Canvas
Giclees. As a particular edition nears its end, its price will likely rise.
The dropdown menus will always reflect the current prices.
